Even after that I stayed a member, the sauna was always down, the massage chairs were never a option and the machines in the ab, core and leg workout sections as well as mats were always left sweaty and a mess everytime I visited.
I recently have became pregnant and I am a highrisk pregnancy. I motioned to cancel my membership via mail and they refused to cancel my policy without notifying me via email, phone or mail.
Some machines non operatable leaving you to wait for another one to come open. Never convienent!
The representatives handled this matter unattentively and left me unsatisfied telling me I had to pay a fee of 60$ and tax to cancel.
I visited the location as went to cancel my membership, after standing there with a representative for 15 minutes, as three employees are huddled looking in confusion, they than tell me I cannot cancel, because I have a black membership and must hold it a year..NONSENSE! I than asked to speak to a manager none was available as all they can say he stepped out for a hour or two.
And than another maintenance fee of 47$ the next month..
I enjoy my experience at Planet Fitness. The first day I signed up I started working out and have stuck with it because I feel good working out in a friendly safe and clean environment. Thank you.
What a hassle! I would not recommend anyone to sign up for their services, all that looks good is not.
When I signed up for the black card membership and paid the fee of 35$ +tax telling me it was my fee for the month, they than billed me additional that same month 17$
Nobody is ever at the front desk. Tanning booths are always down. Because I signed a year contract I am now forced to go to mentor, where everything works and kind and friendly employees. Never going back to Richmond heights location.

Love the new renovation. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very low key. They have every machine you can imagine and some you can't! And you can't beat the price. This is a great gym for all fitness levels.
Extra large gym with plenty of equipment. Showers are in bad shape, the area is not clean and some showers are non-functional. Staff are courteous.
